Today (October 2) is Gandhi’s birthday! In honor of that, it is also International Day of Nonviolence. While there are several noteworthy Gandhi quotes, this one was in my head when I woke up this morning:
“Nonviolence is not a garment to be put on and off at will. Its seat is in the heart, and it must be an inseparable part of our being.”
